Professional Background

Julie is a the founder of Drishti Holistic Wellness. She is a Teaching Associate at Harvard Medical School, serves as the Associate Director of MBCT Teacher Training at The CHA Center for Mindfulness and Compassion and is a consultant for the Wellness in Nursing (WIN) Program at Boston College. Julie is licensed as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a registered yoga teacher.

Julie specializes in providing outpatient mindful mental health services, including prescribing psychiatric medications. Julie has worked at Strong Memorial Hospital, The Cambridge Eating Disorder Center, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Cambridge Health Alliance and TaraVista Behavioral Health Center. She currently provides per diem coverage at Lumin Health.

As a mixed person of color, Julie feels strongly about honoring each person’s unique identity. Julie enjoys getting cozy with a good book, being outdoors and time with her family.
