Equanimity Based Compassionate Action [EBCA]- Teacher Training | 100 hours
Certification Programme P300
The Equanimity Based Compassionate Action [EBCA]-Teacher Training certification programme equips learners who satisfy the entry requirements with the skills to facilitate EBCA for individuals and groups for cultivating equanimity for wise, compassionate action. One of the main applications of EBCA is in fulfilling DEI initiatives for organisations. This certification programme is designed in partnership with Dr. Joey Weber - the principal developer of Equanimity Based Compassionate Action [EBCA] - to help individuals and groups unpack why we discriminate and how to find compassion. Graduates of this programme will also be certified to teach the EBCA.
This 100-hour programme aligns with the standards set by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA) and provides both theoretical and practical training in facilitating mindfulness techniques at workplaces. Graduates are eligible to obtain the CMF (Certified Mindfulness Facilitator) credential from the IMTA upon successful completion of this certification programme.

Equanimity Based Compassionate Action [EBCA]

This 6-week, 12-hour programme helps ‘striking the balance between compassionate care for self and others’ which has been validated by the University of Bolton.

Core Focus:
• Puts equanimity—the ability to remain balanced amid challenges—at the center of mindful action.
• Connects mindfulness to wise decision-making and moral clarity in compassionate responses.
Unique Features:
• Especially helpful for DEI initiatives in organisations and for those in service professions (e.g., healthcare, humanitarian work).
• Focuses on developing inner emotional neutrality, not detachment.
EBCA is a bespoke training to align with organisational needs in a professional or social context. This process takes the challenges an organisation faces and provides definitive application of how to deal with them through compassion and equanimity. Enhancing self-awareness in the context of a professional contract provides the foundation for a deeper appreciation towards ethical and empathic business interactions.
This training also allows solutions to be tailor-made and may include conflict resolution, team building, attainment of strategic objectives through pro-social interventions, addressing religious conflict and tolerance, reducing socio-economic biases and understanding and managing political bias.
