Lisa Sanders

Faculty | Psychologist

Clinical Psychologist
 

Lisa is a qualified clinical psychologist from South Africa, with a passion for working therapeutically across various ages, genders and cultures. She holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and has published academically, contributing to lessons of experience in the field of psychosocial behaviour and mother/child development.

 

Lisa has varied work experience and is deeply committed to promoting mental health, a basic human right, amongst all populations. Lisa has developed areas of special interests and skills throughout her academic, research and working experiences including but not limited to: perinatal mental health, chronic illnesses and mindfulness-based interventions.

 

Lisa completed her certification in Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing Enhancement (MBWE) training in 2019 and has since been integrating this modality into her clinical work to therapeutically support a range of individuals and groups.
