This is the final phase of the Schools Mindfulness Facilitator (SMF) certification program, a crucial step towards becoming a Certified School Mindfulness Teacher and acquiring the eligibility to apply for the CMT-E credential from the International Mindfulness Teachers Association.

Minimum Qualifications
Successfully completed Secondary or High School education
English Language Requirement
GCE ‘O’ level English (grade 1 to 7) or equivalent; OR IELTS score of 5.5; OR Post-Secondary Qualifications, where certified that English is the sole medium of instruction; OR An equivalent of English language qualification
Minimum Age Requirement

Pre-requisites

A minimum 2 years of regular mindfulness meditation practice

Attended a qualifying 8 week mindfulness course

Attended at least 1 mindfulness meditation retreat of a minimum of 5 days with a qualified instructor

Demonstrate professional credentials, graduate level training or state certification in K12 or higher education.
Prerequisite Course Completion:

Course M102 - Facilitating Mindfulness Practices or equivalent
